Scouting report

NO WR Marques Colston - Week 16, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Jacksonville
Marques Colston caught 2-of-4 targets for 39 yards and a touchdown in the Saints Week 15 loss to the Lions. He also had a touchdown called back on a penalty late in the first half. Colston is too inconsistent to be a reliable fantasy starter but he does have three touchdowns in his last two games. Ranked as our WR50 for Week 16, Colston will be a boom-or-bust WR4 this weekend.

NO WR Marques Colston - Week 15, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Detroit
Marques Colston caught six passes for 36 yards with two touchdowns in the Saints Week 14 win over the Bucs. It was Colston's first two-score game since 2013 and was easily the receiver's best game of the season. That said, he ranks as our WR45 for Week 15 so for those fantasy owners looking to catch lightning in a bottle twice, it's best to avoid Colston in Week 15. He's just too inconsistent to be a reliable fantasy option.

NO WR Marques Colston - Week 10, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Washington
Marques Colston caught three passes for 38 yards in the Saints Week 9 loss to the Titans. After catching 114 yards and a touchdown last week, Colston went back to playing behind Willie Snead in two-receiver sets and also lost snaps to Brandon Coleman. Ranked as our WR48 in Week 10, leave Colston on your waiver wire.

NO WR Marques Colston - Week 9, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Tennessee
Marques Colston caught 8-of-9 targets for 114 yards and a touchdown in the Saints wild 52-49 win over the Giants in Week 8. Colston's score was on a 53-yarder in which he raced untouched to the end zone as New York forgot to cover him. Even with the Saints rediscovering their offense and Drew Brees on a torrid pace right now, Colston still isn't a viable option in fantasy. Ranked as our WR42 for Week 9, there should be better options on your waiver wire if you're in search of a WR3 for this weekend.

NO WR Marques Colston - Week 6, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Atlanta
Brandon Coleman failed to record a catch in the Saints Week 5 loss to the Eagles. He was targeted only one time as Willie Snead and Brandin Cooks continued to see the majority of looks from quarterback Drew Brees. Coleman isn't a fantasy option and can be dropped in all standard leagues.

NO WR Marques Colston - Week 4, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Dallas
Marques Colston caught four-of-six passes for 47 yards in the Saints Week 3 loss to the Panthers. He had just one catch at halftime, but was targeted four times in the second half as New Orleans attempted a comeback in the game. At this point in his career, Colston should be viewed as a WR5.

NO WR Marques Colston - Week 3, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Carolina
Marques Colston caught four passes for 69 yards in the Saints Week 2 loss to the Bucs. While Brandin Cooks and Brandon Coleman started, Colston was the second option in the passing game behind Cooks. With Drew Brees (shoulder) banged up and the Saints offense looking directionless without tight end Jimmy Graham, Colston and Co. aren't reliable fantasy options for Week 3 at Carolina. Colston ranks as our WR64 and should be avoided.
