The Dolphins are at Houston on Thursday night and the turnaround would have been too quick to get Stills back in the lineup. According to other reports, it looks like Parker will get to play on the short week with all the injuries in Miami.
MIA WR Kenny Stills - 2019 Fantasy Football Outlook
Kenny Stills saw the second-most most targets among wideouts last season in Miami, and the man who was first (Danny Amendola) is now gone. Stills was second on the team in receiving yards (553) and first in receiving touchdowns (6). With Amendola gone, Stills can become a PPR threat as he tied with Amendola for most first downs on the team in 2018.
The downside to Stills is he plays on the Dolphins. There’s not much excitement about this offense as it could easily finish as the worst offense in the league this season. Miami has a lot of options at receiver that all sort of feel the same in Stills, Albert Wilson, Brice Butler, DeVante Parker and Allen Hurns.
2019 Bottom Line
It’s hard to find a standout star within Miami’s receiving corps. Stills has a higher chance than most of the options, but his fantasy outlook isn’t too promising. He carries a little upside as he’s had success before, finishing as a top-30 wide receiver in both 2016 and 2017. He could be worth a late-round flier, but just don’t expect a huge season.
