The wide receiver went down on the field in pain after running a route that didn't appear to involve any contact, so owners probably saw the final diagnosis coming at that point. Reynolds now takes over as the team's WR3. In Weeks 7 and 8 when Kupp was out, Reynolds totaled four catches for 61 and two TDs on five targets. But, most of that came in Week 8 against Green Bay when he totaled a 3-42-2 line. In those same weeks, Reynolds played on 83- and 88-percent of the snaps, so he seems worth adding for teams needing help at WR. As for the future, seems like a close call for Kupp to be ready for the 2019 season.
LAR WR Josh Reynolds - Week 19 Fantasy Football Outlook
Week 19 vs. Dallas Cowboys
Josh Reynolds caught four-of-seven targets for 55 yards and two touchdowns in the Rams’ Week 17 win over the 49ers. While serving the Cooper Kupp role in Sean McVay’s offense, Reynolds did have big games against the Chiefs and 49ers in the final eight games of the season but he did not display Kupp’s consistency. Still, if you’re looking for an inexpensive WR option to play in the Divisional Round, Reynolds is worth a roll of the dice. In fact, he’s projected to score 12.1 fantasy points in PPR formats, which is more than Dontrelle Inman, Nelson Agholor and Golden Tate project to have in their respective matchups. The Rams will host the Cowboys on Saturday night and Reynolds is our WR12 for the Divisional Round.
