Scouting report

CHI WR Josh Bellamy - Week 14, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Detroit
Josh Bellamy led the Bears in receptions (four), yards (93) and targets (six) last week after Marquess Wilson left with an injury. There's a chance Wilson misses this week as well, which could open the door for Bellamy to have a decent game.

But he'll get a tough matchup against the Lions this week, as Detroit has held wideouts without a touchdown in five of the last six games. Bellamy isn't an overly talented player, and with Matt Barkley throwing him the ball against a tough defense, we see him as nothing more than a WR4 or WR5.

CHI WR Josh Bellamy - Week 7, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Green Bay
Josh Bellamy's role will be increased due to Eddie Royal's expected absence, but we're not expecting a huge day. Royal's targets will likely go towards Cameron Meredith and Zach Miller -- not so much Bellamy.

Bellamy will likely finish with some numbers, but he's not a great option, even in a good matchup.

CHI WR Josh Bellamy - Week 12, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Green Bay
Josh Bellamy caught 4-of-5 targets last week for 57 yards. He's more of a move-the-chains type of receiver and is only relevant because Alshon Jeffery and Eddie Royal are expected to sit. When that scenario happened earlier this year he had a 6-31 performance. Bellamy offers more upside in PPR formats, but even then he's not going to be the reason you win your matchup. He's a high-risk low-reward receiver in a decent matchup.

CHI WR Josh Bellamy - Week 6, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Detroit
Josh Bellamy finished with six receptions last week, which is good for PPR formats, but only turned it into 31 yards. The only reason he was relevant is because Alshon Jeffery and Eddie Royal sat out. Both have a strong chance of missing this week, which opens the door for Bellamy. It should be noted, however, that Bellamy is dealing with his own health battle. He's been limited in practice this week and is officially listed as questionable.
