Week 7 vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Henry Ruggs had three catches for 97 yards last week, including a 48-yard touchdown. Ruggs hasn’t been terrible so far this year, with at least 46 receiving yards in every game. The Raiders’ passing offense hasn’t been a high-target environment for the wideouts, which lowers his floor, but his big-play potential makes him a nice risk/reward option.

This week, Ruggs has a tough matchup. The Eagles defense ranks second in aFPA to opposing wide receivers, and Ruggs may draw Darius Slay in coverage. Still, the signs from last week that the new head coach is willing to open up the offense make it worth risking Ruggs as a WR3. He’s getting just enough looks to mitigate the all-or-nothing risk he used to carry regularly.
