Scouting report

TEN RB Dexter McCluster - Week 8, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Houston
McCluster had a season-high 48 rushing yards last week on just six carries and had another five-catch game, giving him at least five receptions in each of the past five games. He hasn't put up big yardage in those games for the most part, but he's been a sneaky play in PPR leagues. Given Houston's tackling problems last week, look for the Titans to attempt to get McCluster the ball on the edges and see if he can do something with it. He's a decent flex play in PPR leagues this week.

TEN RB Dexter McCluster - Week 7, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Atlanta
McCluster is a play only in PPR leagues. And even then, it's a stretch despite his 30 receptions this season. He's not even averaging five yards a catch. You can certainly do better.

TEN RB Dexter McCluster - Week 6, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Miami
The only way you should be using McCluster is in PPR leagues. He had eight catches for a paltry 20 yards last week and one carry for a two-yard loss. But he does have 23 receptions in the past three games - for 125 yards. He's splitting time almost evenly with Bishop Sankey and Antonio Andrews.

TEN RB Dexter McCluster - Week 5, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Buffalo
Unless you're playing PPR, McCluster shouldn't be anywhere near your lineup. Even then, you're rolling the dice with him. He just doesn't see enough playing time.

TEN RB Dexter McCluster - Week 3, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs Indianapolis
McCluster was on the field nearly 60 percent of the time last week as the Titans were in catch-up mode. He only saw four carries, but turned them into 26 yards. He also caught 10 passes for 98 yards - hello PPR owners - taking the place of injured tight end Delanie Walker as a safety blanket. But let's face it, we never know exactly (at least right now) when those kind of games are going to happen.

TEN RB Dexter McCluster - Week 12, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Dexter McCluster Week 12 vs. Eagles
If two or three touches per week helps your team, have at it with Dexter McCluster. If not, which should be the case, don't.

TEN RB Dexter McCluster - Week 8, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Dexter McCluster Week 8 vs. Texans
Though he had just two touches last week, this could be a game in which Dexter McCluster pays some dividends for the Titans. Houston's linebackers are poor in coverage and McCluster is Tennessee's top receiving threat out of the backfield. That might make McCluster worth a shot as a flex player in deep PPR leagues.
