Week 17: Hester vs. Panthers
Devin Hester caught two-of-three targets for 25 yards in the Falcons' Week 17 win over the Saints. Hester is merely a gadget player in Atlanta's offense and should be avoided in all fantasy formats.

ATL WR Devin Hester - Week 16, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16: Hester vs. Saints
Devin Hester caught five passes for 85 yards and a touchdown in the Falcons’ Week 15 loss to the Steelers. With Julio Jones sidelined with a hip injury, Hester served as Atlanta’s No. 3 receiver. Jones is likely to miss Sunday’s game against the Saints but Hester remains a boom-or-bust start that is more bust than boom. Don’t be tempted to start him this week despite his production in Week 15.

Week 15: Hester vs. Steelers
Devin Hester was targeted twice in the Falcons’ Week 14 loss to the Packers but failed to record a catch. Even with Julio Jones and Roddy White banged up, Hester hasn’t made much of an impact outside of being a gadget player. Avoid him in Week 15.

Week 14: Hester vs. Packers
Devin Hester caught one pass for 10 yards and also finished with one rush for an addition four yards in the Falcons’ Week 13 win over the Cardinals. He was targeted four times in the victory but even with Roddy White inactive due to an ankle injury, Hester wasn’t able to cash in on his limited opportunities. He’s merely a gadget player in Dirk Koetter’s offense.

Week 13: Hester vs. Cardinals
Devin Hester caught four-of-six targets for 50 yards in the Falcons' Week 12 loss to the Browns. He continues to be a gadget player in Dirk Koetter's offense although if Roddy White can't play on Sunday due to an ankle injury, Hester would be Atlanta's WR3 versus Arizona. Either way, Hester has limited fantasy value and should be avoided in all formats.

Week 12: Hester vs. Browns
Devin Hester caught three-of-three passes for 34 yards and also rushed once for nine yards but lost a fumble as the Falcons beat the Panthers last Sunday. Hester has had a rough two weeks as he dropped an easy touchdown pass two Sundays ago in Tampa Bay and then fumbled last week in Carolina territory following an unnecessary roughness penalty called on him two plays prior. With Harry Douglas back on a full-time basis following a foot injury, Hester remains a gadget player in Atlanta’s offense. Avoid him in all formats.

Week 11: Hester vs. Panthers
Devin Hester caught one pass for five yards and also ran once for no yards in the Falcons’ Week 10 win over the Bucs. Unfortunately for him and the Falcons, Hester also dropped an easy touchdown in the second quarter and injured his ankle in the second half. He was limited this week in practice but even if he plays, he cannot be counted on in fantasy. He’s simply a gadget player and a boom-or-bust start in all formats. Avoid him.
