DET WR Anquan Boldin - Week 18, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Wild Card Round at Seattle
After making the Hail Mary TD catch at the end of the Sunday night affair versus the Packers, Anquan Boldin finished the regular season with a team-high eight touchdowns. He grabbed at least three passes over the final seven contests, but did not total more than 70 yards in any game during the regular season. The Seahawks have a strong defense, especially at home, so Boldin should not be a part of your playoff fantasy roster.

DET WR Anquan Boldin - Week 17, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 vs. Green Bay
In Dallas last Monday, Anquan Boldin was targeted seven times, leading to five catches for 33 yards. Matthew Stafford connected with nine pass catchers in the loss, with TE Eric Ebron leading the way with eight receptions and 93 yards. Anquan caught four balls for 22 yards and a TD back in Week 3 at Green Bay.

DET WR Anquan Boldin - Week 16, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at Dallas
Even though Matthew Stafford threw the ball 39 times for over 270 yards last week against the Giants, Anquan Boldin finished with just three receptions for 13 yards. Even though Boldin leads the Lions with seven scores and has caught a TD in every other contest the past eight games, he's too risky of a start for the fantasy playoffs.

DET WR Anquan Boldin - Week 15, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at New York Giants
While Marvin Jones and Golden Tate continue to finish with more yards, it’s Anquan Boldin getting the touchdowns. Against the Bears last Sunday, he caught his team-leading seventh score of ’16, to go along with three grabs and 49 yards. While Anquan’s been under 50 yards in six of the past seven contests, he’s been in the end zone in five of the past eight. The Giants shut down the Cowboys passing game last Sunday night, so consider Boldin a WR3/flex play.

DET WR Anquan Boldin - Week 14, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Chicago
With Matthew Stafford spreading the ball around to seven different receivers last week in New Orleans, Anquan Boldin finished with four grabs for 40 yards. Golden Tate has a big afternoon with no other pass catcher totaling more than 50 yards. Against Chicago in Week 4, Boldin caught six passes for 31 yards, but should only be started if you’re out of other options against a Chicago defense that allows 220 passing yards per game.

DET WR Anquan Boldin - Week 13, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at New Orleans
Anquan Boldin accounted for the Lions only touchdown on Thanksgiving, as he finished with seven catches for 69 yards and his sixth score of the year. He has been targeted nine times in the past two contests and could be considered for your starting lineup facing a bad Saints defense. Boldin makes for a flex play in New Orleans.

DET WR Anquan Boldin - Week 12, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Minnesota
In the win over Jacksonville last Sunday, Anquan led the WRs with nine targets and six receptions, leading to 37 yards. None of the wideouts for Detroit produced, with TE Eric Ebron and RB Theo Riddick accumulating 140 of Matthew Stafford’s 278 passing yards. Boldin was limited to just two grabs for 10 yards at Minnesota in early November, so you’re better off searching elsewhere for a starter.
