Eagles to sign TE C.J. Uzomah

Free agent TE CJ Uzomah, the former Bengals and Jets starter, is expected to sign a one-year deal with the Eagles. Uzomah, who flew to Philly today and passed his physical, should bolster their passing attack and give the offense an added weapon.

Fantasy Impact:

Uzomah dealt with injuries and was boxed out of a TE1 role by Tyler Conklin in New York, so we shouldn't expect him to impact fantasy this season. The veteran had an 80-target season with Cincinnati in 2021, but that has proven to be a blip on the radar.

DEN TE Albert Okwuegbunam - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. San Francisco 49ers
Albert Okwuegbunam was shut out on a mere two targets in Week 2 as the young tight end continues to struggle to produce consistent offense along with the rest of the Broncos' skill players through two games. Albert O appears to be the top tight end in Denver, at least until Greg Dulcich returns from IR, but that role has simply not been very involved in what has been a poor offense to this point in the season. Until Okwuegbunam earns a more consistent target share and the Broncos' passing game picks it up as an overall unit, he is difficult to trust as a TE1 starter for fantasy purposes.
