Week 17 at Dallas Cowboys
Jeremy Sprinkle has caught just 23 passes all season, and just one of those has been a touchdown. He gets a lot of playing time, but he just doesn't do much for fantasy purposes. Avoid him in Week 17 against the Cowboys.
Week 16 vs. New York Giants
Even though Washington is struggling to find receiving options, the Redskins quarterbacks haven't been looking to the tight ends. Jeremy Sprinkle has 209 yards and one touchdown through 11 starts (14 games played) this season. Look elsewhere for your tight end needs in Week 16.
Week 15 vs. Philadelphia Eagles
Only four Redskins receiving threats saw a target last week and Jeremy Sprinkle was not one of them. There are plenty of other tight ends in fantasy with more upside than Sprinkle. Look elsewhere for your Week 15 needs.
Week 14 at Green Bay Packers
Jeremy Sprinkle was the Redskins' second-leading receiver last week (36 yards) despite finishing with just two catches. He's 19-196-1 on the season, meaning you can likely continue to avoid him in fantasy.
Week 12 vs. Detroit Lions
Vernon Davis has been getting in limited practice sessions this week. Jeremy Sprinkle has filled in for Davis while he remains in the concussion protocol. Sprinkle caught a touchdown last week, but that's pretty much all he did. He's a touchdown-or-bust candidate against the Lions. Detroit has allowed four touchdowns to tight ends this season.
Week 11 vs. New York Jets
Jeremy Sprinkle has been a very minor factor in Washington's offense as tight ends Vernon Davis and Jordan Reed have been sidelined. Don't expect things to suddenly change this week. Sprinkle is a non-factor in fantasy.
Week 9 at Buffalo Bills
Jeremy Sprinkle is trying his best, but Washington hasn't had much luck in their tight end department this season after losing Jordan Reed and Vernon Davis. Sprinkle hasn't had more than 25 yards in any game this year.
Week 8 at Minnesota Vikings
Jeremy Sprinkle is Washington's main tight end threat with Vernon Davis and Jordan Reed still sidelined. But his impact for Washington is minimal. He's not a recommended fantasy option.
Week 7 vs. San Francisco 49ers
Jeremy Sprinkle has emerged as the Redskins tight end threat as Jordan Reed and Vernon Davis are each sidelined with concussions. Sprinkle finished second on Washington in receiving last week, finishing 2-24. He's not a good option in Week 7 against a tough 49ers defense.
Week 17 vs. Philadelphia Eagles
Here are the point totals for the Washington offense over the past four games: 13, 16, 16 and 16. With a home match-up, Vegas is being "generous" this week with an implied team total of 17.75 points. With a fourth-string quarterback at the helm, this is not an offense to rely on for fantasy production in Week 17. This is a team that's just trying to stay competitive via its defense and special teams.
