A year after the Jaguars thought about pursuing Browns safety Tashaun Gipson as a restricted free agent, multiple reports say they’ve landed him on the open market.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported Gipson will sign a five-year deal worth up to $35.5 million with the Jaguars.
Gipson was named to the Pro Bowl in 2014, when he finished with six interceptions in 11 games. He had two interceptions in 13 games last season, when he played under a second-round restricted free agent tender.
