With the work that RB Bryce Brown has put in, HC Chip Kelly thinks Brown can be a valuable asset for the Eagles. In their 33-27 win over Washington on Monday night, Brown carried the ball nine times for 25 yards.

Although McCoy gets most of the carries in the backfield, Kelly said before practice Thursday he would like to see Brown get more, ultimately reducing the heavy workload on McCoy.

"No, we don't talk about it. Just how the game is going to express itself," Kelly said. "We know we need to get other guys in there, but we've got to see Bryce a little bit more, but we haven't talked about, 'Are there a certain number of carries for him?' "

Fantasy Impact:

Brown exploded onto the scene last season but did have some fumbling issues. There's no way the Eagles are going to give the ball to LeSean McCoy 30 times a game, every game, and if the Birds are going to run as many plays as they did last Monday night - or more - then Brown will have to get more involved. Will he be fantasy worthy in your typical league - that remains to be seen. But in deeper leagues he may be a guy to think about playing. There is still a lot to figure out with the Eagles offense and how everyone is going to be used.
