The Bears are expected to be without QB Justin Fields and RB Khalil Herbert tonight

Tyson Bagent will notch his fourth start of the season and looks to bounce back from two iffy performances. He has eight turnover-worthy plays over these last two weeks, that have led to five interceptions. The Panthers defense should be in consideration for Thursday night's game.

Bagent has performed well enough as the starter but remains off of fantasy radars. He has thrown five interceptions over these previous two starts.

“[Justin Fields is] day-to-day. We’ll find out more [on Monday], and we’ll see where it is,” head coach Matt Eberflus said after Sunday’s loss to the Saints. “He’s started throwing, which is a positive, and we’ll see where it is in terms of his functionality.”

Fields has not played since injuring his thumb against the Vikings in Week 6. He returned to practice late last week, illustrating he’s getting closer to a return. But with the Bears on another short week as they play the Panthers on Thursday, there’s no guarantee Fields will be back for Week 10, the story went on to say.

The Bagest experience has soured quickly, after he finished Week 7 with a 2.5 aDOT and followed that with two interceptions the next week. Hold off on Chicago fantasy pieces until next week, where possible.

Falcons ruled out WR Drake London for Sunday’s game vs. the Vikings due to his groin injury.

The Falcons' wide receiver position is a stay-away, with Van Jefferson being the only reasonable replacement, but that should be reserved for the deepest of fantasy leagues.

Bills’ QB Josh Allen did not practice today due to the shoulder injury he was dealing with during last Thursday night’s win over the Buccaneers.

Allen kept passes close to the line of scrimmage (6.2 aDOT) in Week 8, but that didn't keep him from completing 77.5% of his passes for 324 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran seven times for 41 yards, with four of them coming on scrambles, so it must not have been too concerned about his shoulder. We'll keep an eye on his status, but it would be surprising if he didn't go Week 9.

Rapoport went on to say that Bears coach Matt Eberflus told reporters Fields remains week-to-week. It sounds like Fields may be able to practice at some point this week, which would be progress, but it's all to be determined, according to Rapoport's post.

Arthur Smith said Drake London's groin injury vs. the Titans "wasn't as bad as we thought."

It's good news but his status for Week 9 is likely still up in the air at this point. The Falcons say they'll see how the week goes with him. London led the way with seven targets and ended with a 5-55-0 line. Hodge had three catches for 75 yards and Miller caught a TD pass in Week 8. The Falcons have an early game against the Vikings in Week 9, so owners will have time to form a backup plan. The team's bye comes in Week 11.

Diontae Johnson popped up today as a DNP with a hamstring injury. That's not good news.

Upsetting news, so fresh off the IR. Pickens began to pop when Johnson was away from the field, but there's an argument to be made that Johnson could help Pickens truly hit some upside potential down field with both playing. Robinson and Austin are nominally interesting in deep leagues for desperate owners.
