Steelers RB James Conner says ankle is fine

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said earlier Tuesday that running back James Conner was being evaluated for an ankle injury.

Conner reports that he’s fine.

The Pro Bowler confirmed to 93.7 The Fan that he got treatment on his ankle but added that nothing is torn. He said he could practice Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact: 

We can never really trust when a player says he's fine, so this is still something to monitor. As the story said, it seems optimistic, and Tomlin said he expects Conner to be limited in practice this week. But it's at least encouraging for owners following an 18-125-1 line Monday night.
