Jeffery went down pretty badly against the Giants but the injury doesn’t seem as bad as originally thought during the game. Nonetheless, he becomes another Eagles wide receiver to land on injured reserve. Jeffery will be back in 2020, where he was $11.5 million guaranteed after the team restructured his contract earlier this year. The Eagles promoted WR Robert Davis from the practice squad.
Ralph Vacchiano is SNY is reporting that while Daniel Jones has not yet been ruled out, Eli Manning is "likely" to start again for the Giants in Week 15.
Jones was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday, but the report says the Giants will likely take a cautious approach with Jones. That makes sense with the Giants at 2-11 and not needing to risk further injury to their quarterback of the future. This will give Manning a chance to bring his record back to even. The loss to the Eagles in Week 14 made his career record 116-117. He has a chance to get back to .500 at home against the 3-10 Dolphins.
This isn't much of a concern. Head coach Mike Vrabel had been giving Henry time off during the week as maintenance. There's no doubt Henry will be on the field for an important Week 15 battle against the Texans for first place in the AFC South.
