Steelers are "encouraged" by Le'Veon Bell's recovery

Over the past 72 hours, Steelers HC Mike Tomlin says the team is encouraged that RB Le'Veon Bell is responding well to treatment of mid-foot sprain.

Bell said in an interview that he should be back "pretty quick," but initial timetables have him returning in around six weeks.

Fantasy Impact:

Six weeks of recovery would give Bell a shot at playing in Week 4, but the team has a Week 5 bye, so it makes sense to expect a Week 6 return. Keep in mind that these mid-foot sprains can linger -- Maurice Jones-Drew tried to rest his Lisfranc injury and missed most of the 2012 season. Bell should be drafted as a risk/reward RB4 type.
