Titans expect QB Jake Locker to start Sunday vs. 49ers, source says, barring late setback.
As Rapaport points out, it's a stunning recovery three weeks after being carted off the field. As our John Paulsen pointed out yesterday, it's a surprise considering the Titans have a bye next week which would provide Locker with two additional weeks off. Ryan Fitzpatrick lost both of his starts which could be a reason for getting Locker back. Locker was also having one of his better games as a pro before getting hurt. It's a bit of a tough matchup this week, though, so Locker is definitely more of a QB2 option as well as a risk in general.
