They may need Vick, because Nick Foles currently has a head injury.
On Sunday, Vick was inactive — even though he was listed as questionable for the game due to a hamstring injury suffered two weeks ago against the Giants. It’s no surprise, given that Vick declared himself to be out on Thursday.
If you watched Foles' terrible performance against Dallas before getting a head injury and giving way to Matt Barkley, you shouldn't be surprised by this headline. The Eagles need Vick if Foles misses time. The Birds take on the Giants next week, but it's very likely Vick will not be 100-percent for this game, which means it could limit his running ability.
