'Skins TE Cooley feels better, not ruled out

Redskins tight end Chris Cooley likely sustained his concussion late in the first half Sunday when hit by Indianapolis linebacker Clint Session.

Cooley addressed his injury during his weekly appearance Monday night on 106.7 The Fan with LaVar Arrington and Chad Dukes.

“It was one of those deals where, I had a concussion but it was mild enough [that] I was never out of it at all,” Cooley said. “I remember everything.”

Cooley took a baseline neurological test Monday he said was close to normal, and will visit a specialist for a CAT scan Tuesday. He can’t resume football activities until he is symptom-free for two days.
