Seahawks RB Chris Carson has 'significant' ankle injury

Seahawks rookie running back Chris Carson could be sidelined for an extended period of time after suffering what coach Pete Carroll called “a significant’’ ankle injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s 46-18 win over the Colts.

Related players: Thomas Rawls, Eddie Lacy

Fantasy Impact:

Carroll added that he didn't want to speculate on whether or not Carson needs surgery on the ankle or not. More tests are being done. Looks like Lacy and Rawls will be popular pickups on the wire this week. However, it remains to be seen who takes on the lead role. Rawls was a healthy scratch in Week 4 while Lacy wasn't much of a factor the first three weeks.
