Reporter Field Yates said that tight end Rob Gronkowski worked "extensively" with an assistant strength coach off to the side. Gronkowski - recovering from surgeries on his back and forearm - caught passes and took part in agility drills.
The story mentions that Gronk still isn't expected to play Week 1, but a mid-September return has been the most recent report to surface. If that's the case, Gronk will likely avoid the PUP list - causing him to miss the first six games. TE Zach Sudfeld continues to get some attention and is worth a late-round flier, at least until Gronk returns.
