We may have a new wrinkle in the Robert Griffin III saga. According to Jeff Darlington of NFL.com, Griffin has not yet been medically cleared to play and will have to wait a few more days.
Griffin underwent tests on Friday to determine whether he would be cleared, but the results were not made immediately public even to Griffin himself.
Now it appears that Griffin did not pass and will have to wait longer before he is cleared.
RG3 was a bit of a surprise keep by the Redskins as the team got down to 53 players Saturday. Many thought the Skins would cut ties but there seems to be a struggle among the coaches and owner as to what to do with RG3. Ownership seems to want to keep him around.
