Report: Shane Vereen will be activated for MNF

Patriots running back Shane Vereen, who has missed the last 10 weeks of the football season with a broken wrist, is expected to be activated for tonight's game, according to a report by ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Vereen has been on the injured reserve/designated to return list with the wrist injury, which he suffered in the first week of the season against the Buffalo Bills. He has been practicing with the team and was listed as questionable for Monday night's game against the Carolina Panthers.

Fantasy Impact: 

Other reports say Vereen will be eased into work Monday night against the Panthers, which probably means splitting time with Brandon Bolden as a change of pace, and in the passing game. Vereen is pretty risky play if you're counting on him, but it at least looks like he's going to play. Also keep in mind that Rob Gronkowski was supposed to be eased back, too.
