Rapoport: Drew Brees (shoulder) could miss 'several games'

Saints believe QB Drew Brees has a shoulder injury that will likely cause him to miss games, potentially several games.

Fantasy Impact:

There are rumors that Brees may be out for the year with a torn rotator cuff. At the very least, owners should prepare for his absence in Week 3. The loss of Brees is going to negatively impact the entire Saints offense, though Sean Payton may elect to go run-heavy with a big dose of Mark Ingram and Khiry Robinson. The defense isn’t really good enough to support such a game plan, so backup Luke McCown will have to make plays to keep his team competitive.
