New Orleans officially activates RB Chris Ivory
Saturday, October 29, 2011, 2:23pm

Jeff Duncan on Twitter - [Full Article]

As expected, the New Orleans Saints activated running back Chris Ivory from the PUP list to the active roster. Tight end Tory Humphrey was waived to make room for Ivory.

Fantasy Impact:

Ivory is expected to be the goal line back for the Saints while Mark Ingram is out, but Darren Sproles and Pierre Thomas will carry the load, leaving Ivory with very little to offer if he doesn't get an opportunity inside the five.

Green Bay Press-Gazette - [Full Article]

Packers Tight end Tory Humphrey broke a forearm in a collision in the morning practice and is scheduled to have surgery Friday. According to HC McCarthy, team physician Dr. Patrick McKenzie said he wouldn’t know until after surgery whether the injury will end Humphrey’s season. Given Humphrey’s lengthy injury history and tenuous hold on a roster spot, however, the odds seem strong he’s seen the field for the final time this year — and perhaps as a Packer.
