Free agent TE CJ Uzomah, the former Bengals and Jets starter, is expected to sign a one-year deal with the Eagles. Uzomah, who flew to Philly today and passed his physical, should bolster their passing attack and give the offense an added weapon.

Uzomah dealt with injuries and was boxed out of a TE1 role by Tyler Conklin in New York, so we shouldn't expect him to impact fantasy this season. The veteran had an 80-target season with Cincinnati in 2021, but that has proven to be a blip on the radar.

Goedert fractured his forearm in the Eagles’ Week 9 win over the Cowboys and he said on WIP radio Tuesday that he is planning to resume his regular role on the offense as they try for a season sweep in Dallas. The Eagles never put Goedert on IR with the hope he'd return in less than four weeks and it looks like that could be the scenario.

Jack Stoll has technically seen an increased workload, but that has parlay into four targets and 17 yards over the last two weeks. Goedert will return to a top-ten TE role when eligible.

The Eagles offense has essentially moved away from the tight end position with Goedert sidelined, but that should shift if he suits up in Week 13. With the state of the position in fantasy, Goedert can definitely be plugged back into lineups if he returns, as an end zone option on an explosive offense.

The Eagles do miss the presence of Geodert at TE. The rest of the post said we'll see if that's possible to be back for Week 13 as this week goes. The post added it does seem very realistic for Goedert to be on the field in two weeks vs. the Cowboys.

Goedert will have an MRI and will have surgery, possibly today, Rapoport said. He's certainly an IR/return candidate given the timeline, which is overall good news. It's a significant drop off from Goedert. Calcaterra and Stoll are up next and we may even have an Albert O sighting over the next month. Stoll is probably the starter based on snaps played this season. All three backup TEs have a combined two catches this season, and both were by Stoll.

Another trade: Broncos traded TE Albert Okwuegbunam and a 2025 seventh-round pick to the Eagles for a 2025 sixth-round pick, per sources.
