Sources: Cowboys promising WR Michael Gallup is having arthroscopic surgery to trim his meniscus, knocking him out 2-4 weeks.

Fantasy Impact:

Rapoport went on to say there is no structural damage besides the meniscus tear, so the return should be quick. Gallup is the team's biggest deep threat and reports say Smith will take over that role.

Adding to the injury list this evening is WR Michael Gallup needs a MRI on his knee a source says.

Fantasy Impact:

Gallup missed the final quarter of Sunday's game against the Redskins and it's not clear if the issue is serious or the MRI is precautionary. Cobb Austin and Smith are next up but Gallup is more of a deep-threat.

Randall Cobb has agreed to a deal with Cowboys. It's a one-year deal worth $5 million.

Fantasy Impact:

The Cowboys lost Cole Beasley in the slot, so his 5.4 targets per game are up for grabs. It's unlikely the Cobb develops into a fantasy starter anytime soon, but he might have some spot start appeal in PPR formats if things go his way.
