Percy Harvin has yet to miss a game this season and, in fact, has played very well only days after dealing with his migraines. Against the 49ers, Harvin caught four passes for 51 yards and returned a kickoff 101 yards for a touchdown. He caught five passes for 84 yards and a touchdown and averaged 35 yards on five kickoff returns against the Packers.
Childress said the Vikings were "just trying to get [Harvin] back to where he needs to be," at this point and that meant giving him rest and not trying to load him up with the game plan. "Of all things, trying to focus on anything would be probably the most difficult," Childress said.
