Pat Shurmur: Eli Manning likely to start Monday, Daniel Jones has moderate high ankle sprain

Giants head coach Pat Shurmur announced Wednesday that Daniel Jones has a moderate high ankle sprain, is in a walking boot and will not practice Wednesday. Eli Manning is now very likely to start Monday night against the Eagles.

Fantasy Impact:

Jones suffered the injury in Week 13 against the Packers but was initially thought to be fine after just twisting his ankle. The injury now seems to be a bit worse than originally expected and now Eli Manning will jump back into the starting lineup Monday night. For as bad as Manning was at the beginning of the season, he faces an Eagles defense that has been shredded throughout the season and Sterling Shepard is back. We could be for an interesting game, so to speak, Monday night.
