Pagano: Dwayne Allen 'trending in right direction'

Indianapolis Colts tight end Dwayne Allen, who has missed the past two games with a high ankle sprain, could return to practice Wednesday, coach Chuck Pagano said Monday.

“Trending in the right direction,” Pagano said about Allen. “Looks like we could have him available for practice on Wednesday, which would be great. They’re going to take him out and test him and run him and move him around. He’s doing well.”

Fantasy Impact:

Allen could end up being eased back in Week 14, but that remains to be seen. He could also go back to splitting up targets with Colby Fleener. Fleener, of course, busted out for a monster game against Washington in Week 13. Either way, it appears Allen is on track to play Week 14, but we'll continue to update his status this week.
