Offensive coordinator Bob Bratkowski believes that the perception that Jaguars QB Blaine Gabbert plays scared is inaccurate.
"If he was scared, you wouldn’t by any stretch of the imagination see him making the improvement he has," Bratkowski said. "What’s come along is he knows where the checkdowns are. He can get them out if they’re there. If not, he’ll take the hit."
Gabbert has shown marked improvement this preseason after a disastrous showing his rookie year. But whether he plays scared or with total confidence, he's still not an intriguing QB2 option.
