No real winner in the quarterback stakes yet, though rookie Mark Sanchez took some snaps with the first team offense for the first time this camp.

"He makes some throws that are hard to make,'' Ryan said. "That's why we went up and tried to get him (trading up in the draft).''

Ryan raved particularly about a throw Sanchez made to Marcus Henry on a deep comeback, saying, "There are very few guys that can complete that pass.''

Clemens threw his third INT in two practices to S Jim Leonhard, who picked him off late in the morning practice. Because it was a end-game situational drill, though, Clemens had to throw the ball, despite the fact that there wasn't a receiver in sight, and blitzing LB Bart Scott was about to sack him.
