NFL will not place Antonio Brown on exempt list

The NFL will not place Patriots WR Antonio Brown on the commissioner's exempt list, making him eligible to play Sunday against the Dolphins, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Fantasy Impact:

There was some wonder about whether the league would place Brown on the commissioner's exempt list with Brown facing sexual assault and rape charges. But because he is facing a civil lawsuit, not a criminal lawsuit, the NFL has chosen not to exercise the option of the exempt list. The question now is how much will Brown play Sunday. The talent is unquestioned. There are also plenty of mouths to feed now in New England. We currently have Brown ranked No. 30 among wide receivers in PPR and third among Patriots wide receivers, behind Julian Edelman (No. 14) and Josh Gordon (No. 29). Brown hasn't spent much practice time with the Patriots but has been practicing. But the talent alone makes him at least flex-worthy.
