NFL to review the concussion protocol after events with Sterling Shepard

“The NFL and NFLPA have initiated a standard review of concussion protocols after New York Giants receiver Sterling Shepard suffered a concussion last Sunday and was allowed to finish the game, league sources told ESPN on Saturday,” writes ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Schefter reports the NFL and NFLPA are reviewing the protocol after there was a breach of the protocol as Shepard was allowed to remain in the game. Shepard entered the protocol on Monday and is out of Sunday’s game against the Bills.
