The Times-Union's Vito Stellino has confirmed that Maurice Jones-Drew has reported back to the Jaguars, ending his 38-day holdout.
This is great news for both MJD and the Jaguars. While MJD was out of action, Rashad Jennings answered the call, rushing 47 times for 209 yards this preseason (4.44 YPC). While MJD will certainly be moving back up in our RB rankings, he wont be finding his way back into the top 5. It remains to be seen what type of shape he is in, how extensively he will be used in Week 1 (now only one week away) and how the workload will be split throughout the season between Jones-Drew and Jennings. Jennings was not available last season when MJD received a career high 386 touches.
