Mikel Leshoure is a forgotten man on the Detroit Lions roster.
One season after leading the team in rushing attempts, yards and touchdowns, Leshoure's role vanished when the Lions signed Reggie Bush in the offseason and Joique Bell leaped over him on depth chart with a strong training camp and preseason.
Leshoure has been active just three games this season and tallied a measly two snaps with the offense.
As the story points out, he was routinely referenced in trade rumors before the deadline, but the Lions ultimately felt he was more valuable as insurance in case Bell suffered an injury. He's just 23, and while the Lions say he has a bright future, he'll probably have to go somewhere else to prove that.
