On Monday, Browns coach Eric Mangini said he has not yet settled on Brady Quinn or Derek Anderson as his starter. Mangini repeated for the umpteenth time this summer that he has no timetable for a decision and will continue to examine his two quarterbacks as the Browns inch toward their Sept. 13 regular-season opener against the Minnesota Vikings.
The clock is ticking. The coach is taking his time.
"No real change," Mangini said. "No decision yet. We're going to go through the whole process and then we'll make a decision."
Mangini also reiterated that rotating Quinn, who threw a touchdown pass in a win over Tennessee, and Anderson from week to week during the regular season is not an option.
