Leon Washington's boycott reached its 2nd week

Jets RB Leon Washington's boycott of the team's organized team activities reached its second week Monday as he was a no-show again, one of my sources just told me. Washington, who had attended the sessions until last Monday, is unhappy with his contract and the lack of progress in negotiations. I'm hearing Washington decided to walk when the Jets "lowballed" him with their initial offer.Don't fret, Jets fans. I'm confident that agent Alvin Keels and Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum will reach a deal at some point. Washington is too valuable to the team, and Tannenbaum has recently taken care of the organization's young talent (i.e. WR Jerricho Cotchery and S Kerry Rhodes) that has come to the team through the Draft.
