Kolb cleared, will start next week "barring complication"

Though he won't play on Sunday against the Lions due to a concussion, Eagles quarterback Kevin Kolb has been cleared to return to practice on Wednesday.

Charley Casserly of CBS reports that, barring a complication, Kolb will start next Sunday for the Eagles at Jacksonville.

Whether any of the complications include a 158.3 passer rating and 100-plus yards rushing from Mike Vick remains to be seen.

UPDATE: Jay Glazer of FOX reports that Kolb was cleared to play this Sunday, but that the team opted to shut him down.
