Jordy Nelson leaves game with ankle injury

Packers WR Jordy Nelson suffered an ankle injury on a play early in the game in which he went down for an errant throw and got his ankle caught underneath him. Teammates said Nelson had no problem with the hamstring that had kept him out of the Jacksonville game and practice all of this week.

Nelson remained in the bench area for the entire game. He was not in the locker room afterward. McCarthy did not say how severe the injury was, but Nelson did put his cleat back on at one point to see if his ankle was strong enough to go back into the game.

Fantasy Impact:

The Packers are on bye in Week 10, so Nelson has two weeks to heal. It's good to hear that his hamstring wasn't a problem on Sunday.
