Jordan Reed (head) undergoing further testing

Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed was unable to practice again and will visit more specialists Thursday because of his concussion. But the Redskins still haven’t ruled out the possibility of him playing again.

Redskins coach Mike Shanahan said they’ll go by the doctors’ recommendation, which is why he said they have not yet shut him down for the final two games.

“We’re going to do what we can to make sure that he’s looked at carefully, and when the doctors say that he’s ready to go, he’ll be ready to go,” Shanahan said.

Fantasy Impact:

At this point, Reed looks doubtful to play again this season. On a per game basis, he was the #12 TE in fantasy, but didn't see starter's snaps until Week 6. He'll likely be a good value on draft day in 2014.
