Jason Witten diagnosed with a concussion

The clock will start on tight end Jason Witten , who was diagnosed with a concussion in the fourth quarter after he ricocheted between Brian Urlacher and safety Chris Harris.

Witten finished with five catches for 51 yards and was noticeably upset on the sidelines when the doctors determined he could not return.

A player has to be symptom free in order to be able to return

If Witten cannot play next week at Houston, then the Cowboys would be down to one healthy tight end (Martellus Bennett ) and would have to make a roster move. Tight ends Martin Rucker and Scott Chandler are on the practice squad.
