Jamaal Charles strains his foot

I'm told that HC Andy Reid and GM John Dorsey do not believe Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles foot injury is matter of serious concern based on diagnosis.

Update: Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Charles is “fine."

Fantasy Impact:

Charles left practice early on Monday with what's being called a foot strain. Now there are reports calling it a foot sprain, which does open the door to Lisfranc. But, Tuesday a.m. saw Charles walking to practice without pads, but also without anything on his foot, according to beat writers.

Our resident injury expert here at 4for4, Russell Manalastas, said the timetable will vary for Charles depending on severity and location, which are key, of the sprain/strain on the ligament. For now, it looks like he and his fantasy owners, may have dodged a bullet. He's considered a top-four overall pick in drafts this year. We will continue to monitor Charles' situation.
