Jags Beat: Storm Johnson's pass protection needs work

Jaguars beat writer Mike DiRocco: Running back Storm Johnson made his debut last week and ran four times for 27 yards. He's going to get more action as the Jaguars try to jump-start a running game that's averaging just 67 yards per game. What's holding Johnson back from being the top back is his pass blocking. One coach told me it's not the physical act of blocking that's the problem, it's Johnson not knowing where he's supposed to go to pick up the blitz.

Fantasy Impact:

Johnson may not see many snaps on passing downs this week thanks to his inexperience in pass protection, but he should see 10-plus carries as the team's primary runner.
