A big topic of conversation since camp began has been third-year receiver Jacoby Jones being pushed by Darnell Jenkins for the last receiver spot. But against the Saints, it was Glenn Martinez who led the team with four catches for 45 yards.
“I really like some of the things I saw him do in camp, not only offensively but on special teams, too,” coach Gary Kubiak said.
Martinez, 27, is 6-1, 187 and entering his fourth season. The Texans signed him as a free agent during the offseason.
