Giants RB Andre Brown, who had almost 600 all purpose yards in eight games, is an impending free agent who has been measured about his future plans. After being involved in more than a dozen league transactions already, cut and signed by five different teams, Brown knows not to get his hopes up.
As he left the facility on Monday, though, he told The Star-Ledger he would be willing to get a deal done with the Giants as soon as possible. According to a person familiar with the situation, the team has already expressed interest in retaining the running back for next season.
David Wilson's long-term health is a question mark, so the Giants would be wise to lock up Brown to an affordable deal.
