Falcons WR Julio Jones (toe) won't practice Wednesday

The Falcons went down to the wire before making a decision on wide receiver Julio Jones‘ status for last Sunday’s game against the Rams and it looks like things could be headed down that path again this week.

Falcons coach Dan Quinn said on Sirius XM NFL Radio that Jones will not practice with the rest of the team on Wednesday due to the toe injury that kept him out in Week 14. Quinn said that the team will see how he feels later in the week before determining his status.

Fantasy Impact:

Jones didn’t practice at all last week and was inactive. The story suggested because the Falcons play the 49ers this week, there may be no need to rush back Jones for this game. Fantasy owners will need to monitor this all week.
