Ever since Pat White skipped the first day of training camp with “personal issues,” much of the talk around camp has revolved around, “how quickly will the Dolphins get rid of him?”
But let’s be honest — the quarterback on Miami’s roster with any real trade value is Tyler Thigpen, not White, who has not shown at all that he can play quarterback at this level.
The Dolphins have no real attachment to Thigpen — they picked him up in a panic last year when Chad Pennington went down. Chad Henne is the present and the future at quarterback, and Pennington is healthy again, so keeping Thigpen, a talented but raw fourth-year quarterback, around is more of a luxury than a necessity.
Chad Henne is the ONLY QB on Miami's roster with fantasy value. God help them if he gets hurt.
