ESPN Dolphin beat writer James Walker feels WR Mike Wallace's stock is on the rise:
Miami’s No. 1 receiver caught his second touchdown in two games. Sunday’s back-shoulder, one-handed grab was one of the most impressive catches of Week 2 throughout the entire NFL. Wallace finished with five receptions for 56 yards. But he’s finding the end zone more this season, which is important. Wallace also leads the Dolphins with 12 receptions.
We had heard in the offseason that the Dolphins wanted to make it a point to get the ball to Wallace. There were also issues with he and QB Ryan Tannehill connecting in the past but it looks like that's no longer a problem. With the loss of RB Knowshon Moreno, things may fall on Tannehill a bit more and it looks like Wallace could be a reliable target going forward.
