"Nothing," Kelly said, when asked Monday what happened between Agholor intimating Wednesday that he would be able to play and being inactive for the third consecutive game Sunday. "If you ask Nelson two minutes after his injury, he'd say 'I'm going the next day,'
"That's just the type of kid that Nelson is. But, we're not going to put him in harms way. He's worked extremely hard with his rehab, but it's not an injury that's going to only take two seconds and he'll be ready to come back. There's a certain amount of time you have to work.
"He practiced every day this week. I just felt he needed a little extra time and we weren't going to rush him back. That just speaks to the kind of guy Nelly is. He thought he could go as soon as he hurt himself, but you hear from the doctors who say it could be a little time here. "
Kelly said that the team plans on monitoring Agholor again this week during practice and hopes to have him back in time for Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins at Lincoln Financial Field.
